A residential area with real tax questions
Mayur Vihar's housing societies are home to salaried professionals, retired government and PSU employees, and families with children abroad. The questions we get are about pensions, interest income, selling an old flat, money sent from abroad, and notices that arrive after an AIS mismatch.
Vitt-Marg is a team of about 30 professionals, including Chartered Accountants and Cost and Management Accountants. CA-led work (tax audit, statutory audit, income tax and GST) and CMA-led work (cost audit, cost records, internal audit and CMA data for banks) sit under one roof, so you deal with one team for all of it.
What we handle here
- Salaried and retired residents: ITR, old vs new regime, senior-citizen benefits, Form 121 instead of TDS on interest where eligible.
- Capital gains: selling a DDA or society flat, reinvestment exemptions, and gains on shares and mutual funds.
- NRIs and families abroad: NRI returns, TDS on property sales, lower deduction certificates and foreign remittances.
- Notices: replies to defective-return, mismatch and scrutiny notices.
- Local businesses: GST, books and tax audit for shops and clinics.
Delhi-specific compliance
Businesses registered in Delhi have a few differences from our Noida clients, and we handle both every day:
- ROC Delhi: companies and LLPs with a registered office in Delhi come under the Registrar of Companies, Delhi (which also covers Haryana), not ROC Kanpur.
- Delhi GST: registrations are with the Delhi State GST department or the Central GST commissionerate allotted to you; notices and appeals go through that jurisdiction.
- Professional tax: Delhi does not levy professional tax on salaries, which simplifies payroll compared with some other states.
Other areas we serve
Our team of Chartered Accountants and Cost Accountants works across Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, East and South Delhi, Faridabad and the Yamuna Expressway. See all areas, CA in Noida and cost auditor in Noida.

I'm selling my flat in Mayur Vihar. How much tax will I pay?
It depends on when you bought it, the price and what you reinvest. Long-term gains are taxed at 12.5% without indexation, or 20% with indexation for property bought before 23 July 2024 if lower. We compute both.
My son lives abroad and sends money home. Is it taxable?
Money received from a relative is not taxable as a gift. Income earned on it in India, like FD interest, is. We help document and report it correctly.
I got an income tax notice about interest income. What should I do?
Don't ignore it. Send us the notice and your AIS; most such notices are resolved with a revised computation or a reply.
Can you file my parents' ITR as senior citizens?
Yes, including the senior-citizen deductions and exemptions they are entitled to.
